Reflect music in an environment visually, without introducing wires or backlit displays. Utilize an eInk screen to create a naturally lit spotify connect display. Album artwork + title shown passively as music playback occurs on other devices.

For now, a nook simple touch will be used as the display, and encapsulated in a wooden photo frame for shelf placement. The already included wifi / battery / android should help for prototyping, but ideally the display would be controlled by a raspberry pi alone for improved power efficiency and battery options. Maybe eventually I'll come across a cooler display.
